What are the Tasks of a Training Manager?

A Training Manager and his team have to organise the training process within a training cycle.
The organisation of the training cycle includes the following major tasks
g
Link the project activities to the phases of the training cycle
g
Coordinate the different phases of the training cycle
g
Write Terms of Reference for different agents, assign tasks and supervise their work
g
Initiate and guide the Training Needs Assessment (TNA)
g
Design or guide the design of training and Capacity Building Programmes
g
Organise or guide the organisation of the training events
g
Take care of the Follow-up of the training courses
g
Organise the process of Quality Assessment and Control (QuAC) for all the steps
g
Have responsibility for the proper documentation and reporting in the system
g
Assure all the necessary feedback in the system
g
Organise internal workshops and coordination meetings
g
Promote and organise the promotion of the training programmes and take care of a corporate identity and design of the training components
g
Manage the financial affairs of the training programmes
